Prakash Raj to remake hit Malayalam film Salt & Pepper

The popular Southern baddie made his mark as a director with his maiden venture Dhoni

The popular actor-producer – Prakash Raj is now gearing up for his second directorial project.

Dhoni was made as a bilingual (Tamil and Telugu), Prakash Raj's second project will also follow suit, but it will also be made in Hindi. Considering Raj now has a fan base in Hindi as well, we think its a smart move.

The film will be a remake of Malayalam hit Salt Pepper. Prakash Raj, who watched the movie recently, was most impressed with it and immediately decided to remake it.  The talented actor will play the lead role, besides directing and producing the movie. Tabu will be the female protagonist and music maestro Ilayaraja will compose for the movie.
