Aishwarya Rai got catapulted into the
limelight after she won the pageant- Miss World, in the year 1994. With time
gradually she turned into one of the finest actresses of the Hindi cinema.
Aishwarya made her entry into films in
the year 1997 with Mani Ratnam's "Iruvar". This film was a Tamil language film
that was a critical success. Her first Bollywood film was "Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya"
that starred Bobby Deol as the male lead.

films for which she became a sought-after actress. She also grabbed many brand

regional languages of India- Tamil, Hindi and Bengali. She has worked in a
total number of 40 films. She has also worked in many English language films.

"The Pink Panther 2".
Her personal life had always been the talk
of the town. Her break-up with actor Salman Khan created great stir in her
life. Her affair had been media's food for thought.
However, she grew out of it and then in
the year 2007 she got married to Abhishek Bachchan. The marriage that took
place on the 20thApril, 2007, had been
a private affair. She gave birth to her first child in 2011 and the couple has
named her Aaradhya.

"Jodha Akbar" and "Dhoom".
