Move over Siddharth Mallya! There is a new man in the
life of Deepika Padukone. It is Ranveer Singh. It was on Sanjay Leela
Bhansali's insistence that the two got to know each other as friends as they
are reportedly playing the lead characters in his next movie, 'Ram Leela'. To
prep up for the role, Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted his actors to look
comfortable with each other from the first frame itself.
So, began the process of getting to know each other.
Turns out, they absolutely love each other's company, and can't seem to get
enough of each other.
It started with Deepika Padukone's birthday. On the eve
of her birthday, Ranveer surprised her by ordering a live brass band to come in
at the stroke of 12 and play Happy Birthday for her. It left Deepika touched
and moved, although embarrassed for a bit. She felt extremely happy and
emotional with this gesture.
Soon after, Deepika left for Dubai for the shooting of another movie.
Ranveer Singh, known to wear his heart on the sleeve, also decided to go there
and surprise her. This was the first time that they spent quality time
together. The two were spotted in the company of Ranveer's friends, and soon
took to the dance floor. In high spirits, they clicked pictures, and let the
world witness their closeness. When asked about the same, Ranveer was heard
saying that since he had a couple of days off between 'Ram Leela' and 'Gunday',
he went to Dubai
for the shopping festival as well as to catch up with his friends based there.
Ranveer, is extremely outgoing and has not left any
stone unturned in expressing his affection towards Deepika Padukone. Deepika,
on the other hand, is an extremely private person and refuses to divulge any
details on the same.
However, she Tweeted a picture of herself with her 'Ram
Leela' co-star Ranveer Singh, where they are both seen sitting pretty in a
boat, looking extremely happy with each other. It remains to be seen whether it
is a part of the movie, or are the two spending some quality time with each
other.
Deepika Padukone is flying high these
days. With two high profile films in her kitty, she is in an extremely happy
space. Her other big release this year is going to be 'Chennai Express'
opposite Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Rohit Shetty.
