The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani producer believes that he has been overexposed – and he did it all to himself – in the last two decades

We met Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor at the promo launch of their new romantic movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. This is Deepika's second release of the year after Abbas Mastan's action flick Race 2. The babe is neck-deep in work, as she has back-to-back releases slated from May 2013 to December 2013 and beyond.

After Ayan Mukerji's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani the gorgeous gal will be seen in Chennai Express opposite Shahrukh Khan, then she has Ramleela with Ranveer Singh, and then the leggy beauty will follow it up with Rajinikanth in Kochadaiyan. But won't all these films releasing back-to-back overexpose Deepika? Won't there be an overdose of the star in the days to come? We wondered….

"I have exposed myself time and again in the last two decades. I am the brand ambassador of exposure, so I will be the wrong person to answer this. But seriously speaking, I feel Deepika will be a part of immensely credible endeavours. Each one of them is different from the other. I think variety should be appreciated and not consistency," said Karan Johar, who was present at the launch. "Deepika has proved her acting prowess in Cocktail and she has many films with different characters, so more power to her," added KJo.
