Femina Miss India 2013 was held in Mumbai on March 24, 2013.
Navneet Kaur Dhillon from Chandigarh
won the 50th Ponds Femina Miss India 2013. Navneet 20 is a media
student and now she will represent India internationally in Miss
Universe contest. She also won the Femina Miss Glowing skin award. Navneet Kaur Dhillon
was the contestant of I am She 2012.
Sobhita Dhulipala crowned Miss India Earth 2013 and Zoya
Afroz won Miss India International 2013.
It was a glittering evening and the evening saw the
performance by former Miss world and successful Bollywood actress Priyanka
Chopra. She danced to the hit number 'Desi Girls' from 'Dostana'. Singer Sonu
Nigam entertained all with his soothing voice.
When Navneet Kaur Dhillon reached the top 10 position, she selects
John Abraham and John asked Navneet, "If there were no rules in your life
for one day, and you could be outrageous what would you do?"
She replied, "I would ride a horse in the busiest streets and go on the tallest
building and scream that this world is so beautiful, so live it to the
fullest."
Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and
Aftab Shivdasani groove to the title songs from the movie 'Masti' and 'Grand
Masti' and won the heart of all. Ritu Kumar, Yuvraj Singh, Shiamak Davar,
Chitrangda Singh, Asin, John Abraham and Karan Johar judged the show and Manish
Paul hosted the Ponds Femina Miss India 2013.
After a gap of three years, Aishwarya returned to stage and performed to the song Uri Uri which was choreographed by Shamak Dhavar.
Femina Miss India 2013 is aired on Colors channel.
