The trailer of Ram Charan Teja and Priyanka Chopra starrer and Apoorva Lakhia directed
'Toofan' which is a remake of 70 blockbuster 'Zanjeer' is out. 'Toofan' is Ram
Charan Teja, son of superstar Chiranjeevi Bollywood debut. From it's
conception, the film was in the news. 'Toofan' is a bilingual
film, to be made in both Hindi and Telugu. In 'Telugu', the film will be named 'Toofan'.
The first look of the movie will be released in Hyderabad on 27th March on the occasion of Ram Charan Teja's birthday.
."Planning a big launch for the teaser and trailer of 'Toofan' on
Charan's birthday in Hyderabad. Cutting, snipping background score,
grading. Full power," director Apoorva Lakhia posted on his Twitter
page.
In 'Toofan', Ram Charan Singh is playing a dedicated police officer and
Priyanka Chopra his love interest. There is going to be lots of action and
drama. Srihari has been stepped into Sonu Sood's shoes. Sonu opted out of the
movie due to injury. Prakash Raj as usual will be seen in a villainous role.
'Toofan' is a remake of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan's 1973 blockbuster
'Zanjeer'. The story revolves around ACP Vijay Khanna, who is jailed for 6
months on false charges.
The film is nearing to completion and it is expected to see the light of the
day at the end of summer this year. Apoorva Lakhia has given a modern touch to
the movie. The trailer shows high octane and improvised action by Ram Charan
Teja when he encounters with the villains. It also shows Ram Charan getting
intimate with Priyanka Chopra.
