The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton whose delivery is due this July has
decided on the name of the baby. If it is a baby boy, they would name their
baby after Prince Philip. The royal couple Kate Middleton and Prince William has
short-listed the traditional name in honour of Prince Philip, the Duke of
Edinburgh and the husband of Queen Elizabeth II. Royal sources said. "The
name Philip is in the frame for a boy. It will certainly have it somewhere in his
name," a royal insider was quoted as saying by The Daily Star.
If the baby is a boy then somewhere in his name, he will carry the name
Philip. Prince William also has Philip in his name. His full name is Prince
William Arthur Philip, and his father is Charles Philip Arthur George
"It is popular with them at the moment and could even be the first name
as William is very fond of his grandfather," the source said.
Kate Middleton who is going to be a mother soon is not willing to know the
sex of her unborn baby. During a visit to Scotland last week, the royal
couple maintained tight-lipped on their options for names. "We have a
short-list for both but it's very difficult. My friends keep texting me
names," Kate said.
Rumor is going the rounds that Kate Middleton and Prince William will be
blessed with a baby girl.
