The Student Of The Year actor is gearing up for Imtiaz Ali's film opposite Randeep Hooda

Alia Bhatt won many hearts with her performance in Karan Johar's Student Of The Year which also had Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. Though the spunky actor hasn't had any releases in 2013, she is quite thrilled about her performance in her upcoming film by Imtiaz Ali. The story of Highway revolves around a young girl who discovers freedom in the bondage imposed upon her. After the first trailer of the film was released, Alia has been receiving rave reviews. The Bhatt girl now wants her father Mahesh Bhatt to direct her in a film for their home production. The actor says,

"I want to work for my home company (Vishesh Films). I am not intimidated by my father. I am only intimidated by his intelligence. He may be a lot older than me. But at heart he's as young as I am. At home, he's more energetic than all of us."
