Love him, hate him but you just can't ignore him! That is Salman Khan. Many may call him a spoilt-brat, hot-tempered or on the other hand a demigod or a superstar, whatever it is, he is in the headlines all the time. A click of his fingers makes for the headlines the next morning, that is how much people want to know about him.
Salman Khan never tries doing anything about his bad boy image. He has apparently lost a few ladies to that attitude but what he has got out ofthat image is a bunch of controversies in his kitty, some ugly ones too. So today we will tell you the most famous controversies of Salman Khan and how he has sailed through all the slush.

SRK-Salman Cold war

This has to be on top of the list. Two rivals cannot be friends for long, that was proved when Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan, who were once very good friends, had a bad fight at Katrina Kaifs birthday bash. Apparently SRK made some remake about Salman's ex-girlfriend, Aishwarya Rai which irritated him. Salman later on went on to tell that he can never be friends with SRK.

2002 Hit-And-Run Case

The Salman Khan hit-and-run case has seen several twists and turns since the incident took place 11 years ago on September 28, 2002. The actor allegedly rammed into a bakery in Bandra, Mumbai killing one person and injuring four others.

Poaching Case

On 17 February 2006, Salman Khan was sentenced to one year in prison for hunting the Chinkara, a black bug, an endangered species. The sentence was stayed by a higher court during appeal. This took place during the shooting of his film, Hum Saath Saath Hain.

Salman Khan-Aishwarya Rai Controversy

Salman's affair with Aishwarya Rai was a well publicized topic in the media. After their break-up in March 2002, Aishwarya Rai accused him of harassing her. She claimed that Salman Khan had not been able to come to terms with their break-up and was hounding her; her parents lodged a complaint against him. There were rumors that suggested that he used to beat her up too.

They never gave any conformation which made people speculate more and more. During the shooting of the film Ek Tha Tiger, rumors were rife that Salman Khan had beat Katrina Kaif, for allegedly wearing a revealing outfit. It was also said that Kat had to call Kareena to rescue herself from Sallu. When they apparently broke up and Miss Kaif was dating someone else, it didn't go down too well with Salman khan.
