Ajay Bahl, who recently had a fallout with the Bhatts, has started work on the next titled The Informer which is based on the Japanese novel by the same name. However, the director also plans to retain his lucky charm Shilpa Shukla in the film.
The director also revealed that Sikkimese model turned actress Geetanjali Thappa will be reprising a prominent role in the upcoming thriller drama as he believes that she deserves one for refusing City of Lights after Ajay walked out of this Bhatt's project. With a backdrop of Tokyo stock market, the novel revolves around adultery, murder and mystery.
