Arbaaz Khan has roped in fashionista Sonam Kapoor and 'Furkey'
Pulkit Samrat for his new project, titled, 'Dolly Ki Doli'. It is a rom-com
movie which will mark the directional debut of Abhishek Dogra.
The film also features Rajkummar Rao of 'Kai Po Che' fame. Pulkit
Samrat will be seen as a no-nonsense cop from the Northern heartland, while
Rajkummar Rao will essay the role of a Jat.
When contacted, Arbaaz confirmed the news saying, "Both
Pulkit and Rajkummar are promising actors and matched the demands of Abhishek's
script. I'm happy to have them on board."
Abhishek elaborated, "We will be shooting extensively
in the Delhi NCR region. The highlight of the film will be Sonam, as she is
playing a character that is quite close to her chirpy real self." However,
fashionista, Sonam will be seen as a complete desi girl.
The film will go on floor in 2014 and is scheduled to
release at the end of the year.
