The actor-producer is ready with his first Marathi film, 72 Miles – Ek Pravas, is thrilled to broaden his horizon as a producer; plans to make Punjabi and Bengali films

It seems that Akshay Kumar has taken the popular phrase 'Make hay while the sun shines' a bit too seriously. How else can you explain the Khiladi churning out as many as four films a year as an actor? His latest production Oh My God! has managed to impress both critics and audiences, and has encouraged him to plan his production ventures in every direction possible. From what we hear, the actor doesn't want to restrict himself to just producing Hindi films, but looks to spread his reach wider to cover other languages as well. His first Marathi movie – 72 Miles – Ek Pravas, directed by National award winning director Rajiv Patil – is complete. This one talks about the journey of a 13-year-old boy who walked from Satara to Kolhapur in 1960.

The Khiladi 786 actor recently admitted that his production house Grazing Goat Productions is also working on regional language films and will soon make movies catering to Punjabi, Bengali and South markets. Now that's really too much – spreading yourself very thin, Akki!

We wonder how apna dashing Kumar manages to spend quality time with his family with his super busy schedule – especially with the new little baby girl in his life!
