Vidya Balan was clueless about Ali Fazal’s work

Vidya Balan, who will soon be seen opposite Ali Fazal in their upcoming film Bobby Jasoos, says, she wasn't aware about Ali's work, until Bobby Jasoos happened.

The lovely lady shares her experience on working with the newcomer. She said: "I haven't seen any of his work before. I had no clue absolutely. But Sahil and Dia were convinced. As long the director believes in an actor it is completely fine and Samar was very sure Ali was right for the part. I didn't want to get into casting. The team shares all the details with me. Then we had this workshop before shoot where Ali,me, the rest of the cast,Samar and Sanyuktha were there. So that really helped to break the ice and as long as the ice isn't broken a better result doesn't come forward. I didn't consider the pairing was unconventional or anything. He is an actor and after working with him I got to know that he is a very good actor. Very good looking. So I think it's interesting. Every time there is a new pairing, its interesting."
