Deepika Padukone has thrown a grand success party on 21st
December night and Bollywood's noted celebrities and close pals of the actress
were invited but her ex-boyfriend and actor Ranbir Kapoor skipped the party. Being
in Mumbai, Ranbir chose to stay away from the limelight and spend time at his
home. The soul reason for the actor not turning up for the party is his ladylove and actress Katrina Kaif.
Katrina Kaif was not invited for the party and hence Ranbir
also decided to give the party a miss. "Ranbir
was not shooting on Saturday. It is clear that he did not want to attend the
event. Ranbir was in no mood as Katrina apparently was not on the guest list,"
a source said.
On the other hand, a source close to Kaif replied: "I don't think she was
invited. She was shooting for a brand on that day."
Deepika has invited who's who of Bollywood and she did not
invite Katrina which throws the clear signal that all is not well between the
two actresses. They are rivals and share professional and personal vibes. When Katrina's
bikini picture with Ranbir at Ibiza beach in Spain created hullabaloo, Deepika
commented that a public figure should always be careful. Deepika also took a
dig at Kat in the last season of 'Koffee With Karan' when she said that she
would like to see Kat's passport.
However,
Katrina Kaif might not be happy with Deepika Padukone's controversial statement but the the most important factor of their cat-fight is Ranbir Kapoor. We all know
Ranbir used to be Deepika's boyfriend before he established relationship with
Katrina.
Deepika had four hits this year and to celebrate her success, she threw a grand bash held at a hotel in Worli. Celebrities from Aamir Khan to Shahrukh Khan graced the party.
