The Hot Story Behind Hate Story 2′s ‘Aaj phir’ and Sunny Leone Songs

The Hate Story 2 song 'Aaj phir tumpe pyar aaya hai' (originally from the 1988 Vinod Khanna-Madhuri film, Dayavan) is vying to become the flavour of the month. The sizzling video featuring Jay Bhanushali and Surveen Chawla has already spread like wildfire on the net.

Moreover, the second song from the film's OST — 'Pink Lips' — is also evoking much buzz because it features Sunny Leone in a special appearance.

Expectations are high from Hate Story 2 because Ragini MMS 2 has proved that hit songs can make a film. And like that film, Hate Story 2 too is a sequel to a hit film.

Director Vishal Pandya is keeping his fingers crossed. Pleased with the response to the songs, he says, "The original song 'Aaj phir tumpe pyar aaya hai' is cited as a forerunner when it comes to sensuality on screen. I think it features one of the longest kisses on Indian screen ever. The kiss between Madhuri Dixit and Vinod Khanna almost last for half of the song's duration! It was almost a natural choice to have that song in our film. It is now going to turn into a love anthem! I want to become a director who is recognised as someone whose films have great music."

And he is almost euphoric because he has got Sunny Leone on board for the other explosive number, 'Pink Lips.' The director declares. "The video with Sunny Leone is going to be explosive. It's a song people should look forward to. The video, not only plays a key role in promotions, it is also a significant part of the film."

But because of the sensuality quotient of the film, the trailer of Hate Story 2 has already run into problems with the censor board. Vishal is unperturbed. "Some people shoot such a scene even if the script doesn't demand it. But if the script demands it and if one does aesthetically, I think it should be fine. Of course the government has appointed a censor board for good reasons. We shoot what we want to show, and they regulate in terms of what people should see. I think the balance is important. I respect their judgment," he says.
